Okay, I've Finally Lost It...

As some of you know, we would like to go back to Russia for little boy #2 (DH has 2 bio girls and I have 2 bio girls aged 11 to 19 along with our little 3-year-old Russian prince). We went through a big struggle to sell our house and lost a lot of money on it that should've funded #2. My first thought when the refund for the escrow account was..."Oh look, money for the application fee and the home study!!" I thought DH would fall over.

" I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you and every long lost dream lead me to where you are others who broke my heart they were just northern stars pointing me on my way into your loving arms this much I know is true....That God blessed the broken road and lead me straight to you, I think about the years I spent just passing through, I'd like to take the time I lost and give it back to you but you just smile and take my hand even then you understand that its all part of this grander plan that is coming true and every long lost dream lead me to where you are..."-SELAH

My promise to dh this time was that I wouldn't bring up adoption #4 for him to go through with #3. (Not go through with-he's very happy, but you know what I mean).

Well, because she has SN, we got a refund and grant that we were totally not expecting and that were quite substantial. FIL told dh "Well the only bad thing about that is..." Then he had to answer the phone. dh was prepared for a battle, thinking FIL was going to say that she must have other problems or something. He got off of the phone and finished..."Now Katrina is going to know that you can afford to do it again."

Still keeping my promise, though. I do see money differently now, though. Totally with you!
