Altogether my husband estimated somewhere near $40K. No wonder why he doesnt want to do it again!

We took out a home equity line of credit to do so.

At todays exchange rate about 31,000 US dollars (I live in Spain so paid in euros - 23,000 euros). Just to mention this was just me travelling to adopt one child.

I adopted my DD in the beginning of 2005, and my total costs where $36,000 approx. I too was a single traveler, but had very high airline tix rate as I only had 5 days notice (to be on the plane in 4 days the week of Christmas!). I have heard that it still ranges from about $35,000 - to $40,000. I also did a Home Equity Loan.

About $37,000 including travel for two/three. Refinanced my house and got cash-out, plus a HELC.

Cost

Hi, ours was about $37,000. but we also had to redo our dossier and make three trips because we couldn't staty for the 10 days. Also I,ve heard that the costs are going up like fingerprints and I600A. I'm not positive on this but that's what my social worker has told me.
