Photo's of our Adorable Pets

We haven't done this in ages......posting photo's of our beloved pets and if you haven't got photo's just let us know what pets you have as it seems to me that we are a pet friendly bunch.

We have 3 cats at present. Pinkie is technically my cat, Nellie is Antonina's cat and Ralph is a regular long term visitor at our house. He arrived in February and will be with us this time for about a year. I don't have a photo of Ralph to show you now but shall try and remember tomorrow.

Great idea, because while I adore the threads with pictures of everyone's kids, I can't participate in those (yet). So, assuming I can get the photo attachment to work, this is my kitty Natasha.

See if this helps:

-click post reply
-click manage attachments
-browse
-find your pic
-right click on that pic
-open with paint
-stretch/skew
-I reduce to about 60%
-click file, save as....
-find your saved pic & click it
-upload
-close
and your pic should be there

NeedsANap, looking forward to seeing your little kitty.

I love seeing pet pictures! Let's see if I can get mine to post. These are the pictures of my Boston Terrier, Mastiff and cat that I put on our Christmas cards.

Here is our Simba. She is 11 years old and aged a lifetime this year with all the changes. She was the queen of our castle but was dethroned last year when our angels arrived!

Here is our Mystery when he was only 2 months old. He is now 11 months old and almost 60 pounds! I miss his cute little puppy look. He's huge now! DH just had the 'great' idea of having him groomed to look like a lion. I really don't recommend it....

This is Zoe our beloved "first baby." Whom we sadly lost to cancer in early February. And this is Violet our "newest baby." (16 weeks old)

p.s. to Pequele -- I think Thor is an awesome name for a turtle!
----
Edited to add -- that Violet is on the left and Zoe is on the right. I can never figure out the order in which it puts the attachments.

I love the picture of Thor!! Kim sorry for you loss. I just found out one of my dogs has a splenic mass that is inoperable. I work for a vet and it isn't any easier dealing with the news even being in the business.

Heeeeeeeere's Dixie!

We laugh now and say that all of our kids were born in the year 2000. Timothy in Feb, Dixie in April and William in November so they will all be 7 this year!

We made a picture book to leave with the boys at the orphanage so they had seen Dixie in pictures but when we arrived home about 22 hours after we left Moscow they took one look at her and screamed bloody murder! For 10 days we banished Dix to our bedroom, outside in 100 degree Memphis weather with 99% humidity, behind a baby gate, etc. Finally, on July 4th we came home and my husband said "enough" they will learn to love her so they shreiked and wailed for a few minutes but now they love her so much its incredible!

What our russian interpreterers told us was that our boys kept saying Dixie "cosi" which means bites and we thought they were saying dixie "outside" so we kept saying yes! So here we were thinking that we were letting them know that Dixie was outside and all they heard was Dixie bites! the dog transition was one of the hard ones... our boys were 3.5 and 4.5 when they came home so they definitely had little minds of their own!
