OT-But I Have an Update!!
Well, we took a pretty good hit on it, but I am happy to announce that after 10 months 14 days on the market in an area that's collapsing financially (one town near there population about 5000 has 190 houses up for sale and nothing is moving), WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!! It closed earlier today after just getting an offer on the 16th!! We were just about to give up and go back to Missouri to just live in the old house. I actually sent a resume' up there the day the offer came in. Now maybe we can finally find a place to call our own. And start saving money towards "K". Hang in there everybody, it happens eventually even if you don't get near what you should. We dropped 25K off the original price. It was either that or pray for a well placed F3 tornado to roll through.
 Thanks to all that offered advice or comfort during those trying financial times. Hopefully the job will come around. If not, there are always others...

I'm so happy for you. I know this was quite a struggle. What a huge weight off your shoulders. Good luck to you and your family. Counting down to Kayden!!! I know it's a ways off but always something to look forward too.

Wonderful news.....I remember in your previous post you sounded so upset. As a Missourian I am glad the F3 didn't come through, but they are talking storms for the STL area this afternoon.

Congratuations! I well know the pains of trying to sell a house in this market. We have had our old house on the market since August. We have dropped the price 40K just to "dump it" and it is still not selling.
We are in a real mess...a really BIG mess. We took the chance to buy our new house and "hoping" the other would sell quickly..but you know how it is, no one will take the "buying pending selling the old house". ARGH... So I am hoping and praying we can share the same news very soon...if you have any "tips" please pass it on!

We welcome our sweet angel Hannah to our family! 6/2/06 Home forever!

Congratulations Theresa! Great news. We are trying to sell our house in Florida (to move back to MO, actually) so I know how frustrating it is. Nice to know if you hang in there long enough it eventually happens!

 Happy, happy day!!!! Wonderful news. We've got a closing date but I don't want to jinx it...hopefully we will be a one home family soon too!!!! (It will be 11.5 months if it goes through - who would have thought?) So very happy for you! Christina
