Only one more step!!
Hey!
It's amazing the difference a day makes. Yesterday I was at my lowest point yet, then today we found out the region we are going to in Kaz. Karaganda. Our dossier leaves for our region Monday and our LOI should follow in about 2 to 3 weeks after it's arrival. So I am hoping we will be traveling in NO more than four weeks. Waiting for our LOI is the final step! Please Lord let it happen smoothly and quickly!

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Great news!
 I am going right now to look on the map and see where the region is - Kaz and Kyrg are so close and so similar. I am so excited for you, you know once the ball starts rolling it can happen really fast in Kaz!!!

So glad things are looking up for you and they finally found your dossier(like it shouldnt have been neglected in the first place). Adoption is a share of its ups and downs isnt it? Now hoping that you only have ups to share?Do you know a lot of information about Karaganda, region, babyhomes, accommodations, etc.?
