Russia on The Travel Channel tonight
Tonight at 10pm, eastern time, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. The one hour show is on Russia. We have never watched any of his programs before but the other shows that the travel channel has done on Russia have been interesting so we'll watch it.

Thanks - I was just going to post this. If you're not familiar with Bourdain (I'm a huge fan of his show and books), dont expect Rachel Ray or get put off by the "warning" at the start of the show. While there's a bit of adult language/content it's not too rough. He tends to do and dine on things that are off the beaten path (like fermented shark in iceland). Last week he was in Namibia snowboarding on sand dunes.

I am watching right now...after my 4 trips, I never get tired of seeing Russia. I love seeing the landscape and hearing the voices. Maybe one day I will be able to master the language!

Kicking myself!!!
I've known this was coming on for a week and forgot about it last night. If you know when it will be on again, let me know. I looked on the Travel Channel website and see no repeats scheduled. D'oh!

Not Thrilled
I watched this with my daughter, and we were not impressed with the show. Bourdain seemed obsessed with the cold war, which I had to explain to my daughter during the commercials. She was born in 1991.
I wish he had concentrated more on the people and on life there now, and less on Cold War politics. Dee

We watched it and enjoyed it. Love seeing Red Square and saying "we were there!". LOL at him trying to get even with his Russian friend, I have never watched Bourdain before but he seems like a character.
