Officially a "waiter"
Our adoption consultant informed me that our dossier is being flown to Russia tommorrow with the owner of the agency
 YAY!! We are officially waiting now I just wanted to share my news tonight!

06/2006 Accepted by Agency 07/2006 Starting Homestudy 09/2006 Homestudy complete 10/2006 Sent in I600A with Homestudy 11/2006 Fingerprint appointment and I-171H received ONE WEEK later!! 11/2006 Dossier complete and officially "waiting" 7/2007 WE GOT "THE" CALL!!!!! Accepted referral of a precious girl under the age of 18 months  10/2007 Trip 1 dates! Yay! In Russia Oct.12-18 11/15/07 Trip 2 Court Dates Dec.4-9 YAY!!! 12/2007 Picked up our 19 month old daughter on Christmas Day!

Congrats! Congrats! Congrats!OK, if you figured an hourly rate on getting all of that done, you'd . . . (be a gazillionaire?) Anyway, congrats and may a referral be in the offing!

Robin He has one, she has two, now adopting one together. 2005: 2/05 - 7/05- Research process/agencies 7/25-Submitted app to agency & I-600A to USCIS. 8/26 & 9/8-Homestudy interviews and visit to our home 10/12-Homestudy approved-mailed to USCIS 11/8-Fingerprint appts; dossier sent for apostilling 11/21-Dossier sent to Russia for translation 2006: 1/12 - Rcvd 171-H - sent to Russia for transl. 3/6 - Officially Registered in Smolensk!!! 5/17 - Waiting on reaccreditation (NGO rcvd) 10/13/06 - Accepted Referral of 24 mo old boy 2007: Feb - redid entire dossier and fingerprints.... May 31 - June 8 TRIP 1!!! June 28th - received new 171-H Aug 1 - court Aug 9 - home forever with Cole!
