Maddox has been home a year!!!!
Hello Old and New friends,
Although I'm a week late we celebrated our 1st gotcha day on the 8th!!! We adopted Maddox from Volgograd region, he was 13 months when we brought him home! He has come so far!!! In one year he grew over 12inches and gained 14 pounds! He is two and everyone thinks he is three! He is doing great! I have been fortunate enough to saty home this whole time bur that will all change on the 27th when I go back to work fulltime! He is so ready!!!! He is bored at home and just loves other children! Attached are some before and after pictures, the before is of our second trip when he was just 13 months. The others are of his b-day and of course Halloween! Take care! Nichole

Hi Nichole.... Maddox looks wonderful, and most of ALL.... HAPPY!!! I just love seeing pictures of before and after..... It is amazing what LOVE, good nutrition, medical care, and a FAMILY can do for a child!!!!

So adorable -- hard to believe it's been a year home already. So happy for your family and the blessings you are all enjoying by being together -- Maddox is such a handsome little guy, and it sounds like he is thriving. Thanks for sharing your happy update.

Congrats! What a cutie! He really had a growth spurt! I bet it was a challenge to keep him in clothes! Good luck on going back to work!

Robin He has one, she has two, now adopting one together. 2005: 2/05 - 7/05- Research process/agencies 7/25-Submitted app to agency & I-600A to USCIS. 8/26 & 9/8-Homestudy interviews and visit to our home 10/12-Homestudy approved-mailed to USCIS 11/8-Fingerprint appts; dossier sent for apostilling 11/21-Dossier sent to Russia for translation 2006: 1/12 - Rcvd 171-H - sent to Russia for transl. 3/6 - Officially Registered in Smolensk!!! 5/17 - Waiting on reaccreditation (NGO rcvd) 10/13/06 - Accepted Referral of 24 mo old boy 2007: Feb - redid entire dossier and fingerprints.... May 31 - June 8 TRIP 1!!! June 28th - received new 171-H Aug 1 - court Aug 9 - home forever with Cole!
