Results of Bone-Age X-Ray.....
Well, the Peditrician called late yesterday, and had a "fax" copy of the report.... He said it was blurry, but what he thinks it said, is that her bone-age is alittle younger then her actual age. THIS IS GOOD!!! Not as good as we all hoped for, but better then being age appropriate or older! Yep, I said older. What the Ped. didn't tell me, was that he was concerned that the bone-age would actually be older, showing a bigger gap... So he was THRILLED.
I made the appointment with the Endocrinologist this morning, for November 10th. The Ped. still wants us to see the Endocrinologist with films, and past blood results. We will have the initial visit, and I already have a list of questions written down. Another good aspect is, is that DD already did a Chromosome Test (that the Geneticist had requested 9 months ago), so that will also help him, along with all of the past blood draws, EKG, EEG, Celiac diease test, Liver & Kidney tests, etc. Just wanted everyone to know the results so far.... Hi AmySue..... I'm not sure what the Endocrinologist will do, but she has had all of the other tests that I listed done already with all good results! I suppose that he will be able to decifer the bone age x-rays better, and probably do a physical exam of DD. I am gathering all of the other tests (results, etc.) to take him copies so that her file can be complete, and that he does not send her for any duplicate (un-necessary) tests!

Hey,
Maybe I missed an earlier post, but do you mind if I ask what they are looking to find with the bone age x-ray? I'm glad all the results look promising, but I am trying to understand what it is that they are trying determine. Sorry if you've explained this before, I'll look through past posts after I get my son to school.

Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007
