Hello from Moscow - Another new family is born!
Hello!
Sorry it has taken so long to post an update. We had court in Kemerovo on Friday the 13th and all went very well. Welcome home Erik Anton Battaglia!  I'm still in awe that I get to post this and it's great to see so many posts like this. Congrats to all of the new families! We've finished all of our business in Moscow, but there are no flights available until Tuesday so we're sitting tight until then. Things are going so well. Erik is just fabulous. He's so happy, he's growing and changing every day, and we're all attaching very well. I've posted some pics here. The first is our second day meeting Erik on trip one. DH fixed the pic up a bit to make it black and white. Love that photo. The second is our naked little man the second night we brought him home. Why wait to start posting embarrassing photos? The last is our first official family photo, taking Erik out of the orphanage. A very happy moment. For more photos and commentary, please visit our blog at Blog de Battaglia. Now that he's ours I can post this! Yeah! Thanks to all who have answered my many questions as we were going through the process. This community has been so wonderful, and I am grateful for it. Congratulations to the NEW FAMILY! Enjoy whats' left of your stay in Moscow. Try to soak in the experience. If you are like me you will find yourselves missing your adventure about 6 months after you've come home!
