First Emily wanted to be a cow girl, great already had the perfect outfit and hat and bought cowboy boots $15 to go with it.

Then she wanted to be a cheerleader, fine we were already buying a cheerleader outfit for gymnastics. $40 , but she loves going there and they are having pictures made this week.

Then she wanted to be a princes, cool her Easter dress can easily be a princess dress with tiara and septor, both of which we have.

Then she wanted to be a butterfly, ok, she was one last year, but that's fine. Found beautiful Monarch Butterfly wings $6 at Walmart to make costume different from last year.

Then she wanted to be a Kitty Cat. Found a great Cat Costume $5 at kids consignment sale. The costume maybe too hot here in Alabama on Halloween. You never know sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's cold.
So I bought $1 cat headband and tail at Target. If it's hot we'll pin the tail to her black leotard and sail the fur next year at the consignment sale.

Today we bought Little Mermaid and watched some of it before nap. And what do you think she said she wanted to be....a MERMAID!!

I have kept receipts, so I can take boots and wings back.

We laugh saying I guess she'll be a cow princes butterflycat maid! I'll post pictures!

I'm not really frustrated, but having fun with it all. She has trunk or treat at church, so we could go as one thing for that and something else on Halloween.

Arianna has known since June she was going to be The Little Mermaid Bride...since that is the costume she got when she had her makeover at the Biddity Boddity Boutique in Disney. (Mommy knew the movie was being released so I strongly pushed the choice.) It has been put away since then.

Alex conned Grandma into buying the whole Woody (Toy Story) costume...$63. for all of it. He looks adorable...he picked it out. Ask what he's going to be now...Lightening McQueen. He saw that at the mall (Disney Store) the other day...the car that slides on...umm I don't think so Woody!

I know how our weather is - but didn't even think about that. David is going to be a pirate. I saw this outfit on EBay over 2 months ago and couldn't resist - now the only trick is keeping all that garb on while he is playing at the church activity.

Since we don't go door to door any more (wow I miss that) maybe he will be able to keep his "hook" on while he is visiting each booth at church.

This will really be fun this year!

Batman!!! Adrian has now informed DH and I that he wants this to be a family affair and DH is going to be Joker and he now wants mommy to be catwoman! Tonight we are off to the costume store to see what we can find (for us ). His batman costume is adorable and I am glad I purchased it a while ago because I have not seen another like it (yeah for mommy!).

Well, "I" wanted DD (age 4 1/2) to be a cheetah or cat or something like that. She LOVES animals and it would be cute and unique to her peer group, etc. SHE however wants to be Sleeping Beauty....she won.

DS (age 2) is going to be a scarecrow since "I" still get to decide.

Alivia (age 15 months) is going to be a Tulip Fairy (the costume is SO cute!!!) and I will be a fairy princess. We're going to a friend's costume wedding anniversary party--although we won't be staying too late! Alivia usually turns pumpkin by 9pm.

We have been princesses for the last two years. We are doing the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique in March, so next year we will be a princess again. So I pushed hard and we are going to be a Glamour Kitty. I bought the cat costume and some jewelry. The costume has feathers on the sleeves etc, so she will be a jazzed up cat.

Meow. She is still excited and has told all of her friends. She knows that she can't change her mind, although someone just gave me a free princess costume so there is a possible emeregency back up plan.

She will be one cool cat though!

Big Bad John is going to be Superman. He has a set of Superman pajamas that he loves and a costume that we were given. At 2 and a half he still doesn't get Holloween, but he knows it is coming.
