Happy 5th Birthday, Sam!
Hooray, Sam is 5 today!
The first picture we ever saw of Sam, his referral photo, was taken on his 3rd birthday. Here is that picture, one from a few weeks ago in his new "ta-da" pose after he did a flip off the couch - yikes!, and one from first thing this morning on his new bike. His hair is still wet from the shower and he has offered to give his pj-ed sister a ride on his motorcycle. I can't believe we are going on two years home. He's come a long way from the tempering, raging, yet smart, inquisitive, eager to please, high energy, high maintanence toddler to a compassionate, smart, silly, friendly, funny, bossy, joyful, still high energy, high maintenance kid. We are having a rocket party next weekend for him with some of his friends from school. He thinks this means we will be celebrating his birthday everyday until then! Thanks for letting me share! Hi, Sam! Olya and I want to wish you a very happy, silly, fun and awesome birthday - sooooo, here goes:
Happy, Silly, Fun & TOTALLY AWESOME Birthday, Sam!!! Maybe you remember us - we met you and your momma and papa and beautiful sister, Sophia, in January, and we ate at your favorite Italian restaurant. It was sooo yummy, too!! We had so much fun! You are growing up to be soooo biiiiiiig! Oh, and I love your new bike! What a terrific big brother you are to let Sophia have a ride - way to go!!!
