MCANVASBACK- An amazing woman!
Thinking of you this day as you are flying through the skies to meet your destiny. I have watched you persevere through trial, tribulation, stress, etc. and you have prevailed always smiling and never losing hope, even in the darkest hour.
You have been a wonderful friend and one of the best gifts of my adoption journey. I wish I could see you face the moment you see your girl for the first time and to give you a tremendous hug. I will settle for seeing the smile on your face when you come home and sharing the joy in your pictures and hearing even the smallest detail. For all of the times you answered the phone throughout our adoption,despite the fact you have caller ID and knew it was me...... exclaiming "Forget it! We are going to China" and my personal favorite "Do you think he died and they are not telling us?" and for hearing me repeat the same stories over and over and truely sharing my joy, I thank you for the friendship and for just being an amazing woman! Be safe and know that we are all praying this trip is exactly as you have dreamed it would be over the last few years. I am so thrilled for you. Thanks for letting me share a bit of the journey with you. Mason keeps saying ma la annie nee home? and I keep saying after she meets her baby and he says waaassa? and I say yes baby is in Russia like you. Hugs to you Mamuschka ! Be safe!

For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting and really getting to know Mel...she is not only amazing but strong and funny and sweet. She has taken everything throw at her and is making her dream come true...it has been a heck of a journey but she is on her way! Enjoy meeting your dream come true Mel~

I am thinking of you too Mel. I enjoyed meeting you, and look forward to our next gathering, hopefully with your little girl! You have been so strong, and endured so much, and I am so glad it is finally your turn!

Praying for a baby girl under 1 year 10/7/04 Signed with Agency 12/04 Completed home study 1/21/05 Completed Dossier 1/25/05 Received I-171H 3/7/05 Dossier to Kemerovo  9/30/05-Got THE CALL! 10/11/05-Had to let her go...medicals  11/05-turned down second referral....medicals Dec. 05-Expired dossier redone Dec 05-sent dossier to Izhevsk 3/13/06 received REFERRAL!  3/16/06 ACCEPTED HER!!  4/8/06...First trip!!!!  Lost referral in-country got a new one! 4/11/06 Signed for a 9 1/2 month old girl!! 5/16/06 Leaving on Trip 2 COURT DATES May 23 and 25th! 5/26/06 GOTCHA!! our prayers have been answered!! We welcome our sweet angel Hannah to our family! 6/2/06 Home forever!
