Heart Angels among is...see the beautiful quilt pics!

Way back I posted this story..but some may have not seen it or have forgotten..and now I have pics!

I met a dear friend on the AF, who was looking into adoption. We "clicked" and chatted for many months online. Well, one day she sent me an email...she said "I am in a quilting club...we all do one square, put it together and donate it...this month is my month...I have chosen "adoption" as the theme and we are making a quilt with houses, to represent giving a child a home...and I want to give it to you for Hannah".
OH MY GOSH!!!!! I was so excited!
It took them many months to put it together...
One day I was about at the end of my rope.we were actually seriously considering quiting the process. And THEN the quilt arrived on my doorstep! It was the mostly beautiful thing I had ever seen (well, besides my Hannah!). We believed that was a SIGN to go one, and we did..and look at the outcome!!!!!
Thank you Susan and your quilting buddies! We will always cherish this quilt!!!!!!!

Just wanted to share...and to show you some pics with Hannah and the quilt!

It is so amazing the way our journey to and our children themselves inspire such kindness in others.

What a lovely story. I am sure that the talented quilters loved seeing Hannah appreciating their work.

Thanks guys! I thought you would enjoy....

I just sent Susan the pics...but what is so funny, we STILL have never spoken on the phone or met in person! I would have never believed it, but it is truly amazing what wonderful relationships we can build with online friends!

The quilt is beautiful. My mother also quilts. She made my little boy a beautiful quilt that tells his adoption story from Vlad to the U.S. She is now working on my second son's quilt that we are so desperately trying to get home. The quilts are very cherished items.....symbolic of the warmth a home gives. I love the idea of using homes on the quilt. Such a beautiful idea.
