Elmo Surprises Samantha!!!!
It's been a couple of weeks but we had Samanthas second birthday at the park. Elmo showed up and the kids loved him and went straight to him...except the birthday girl.
 Even when Elmo told her he was daddy, but only in a costume.  Still no go.If DH ever needs another job he can always rent the costume and charge five bucks a picture. I have 3-5 phone numbers of people whos picture I took!!! The wet face picture was in the morning brushing teeth, washing hand and anything else that requires water.

As always Samantha is so cute! Glad that the part was fun even if Elmo was scary.

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

She's adorable! Emily loves Elmo, but she would do the same thing. I don't think I would have been able to get her as close as you did for the picture.

Too too cute! And we can relate. Our niece was a huge fan of Mickey Mouse until the first visit -- from a safe distance like viewing them on tv, children love their little friends, but up close poor Mickey was just a 10 foot rat - AARRRGGGHHH!
Looks like you had fun anyway -- what a cute idea. Thanks for sharing your little dollbaby.
