saratov capatob train

I'm redoing James' room in a vintage transportation theme. I have a US flag made out of liscense plates and I wanted to put two framed pictures of trains up. We took the train from Moscow to Saratov on our first trip and I would love to have some kind of art work of that train or the station or something. Can someone lead me in the right direction? I've already done ebay and google...I did not come up with anything. You can respond here or pm me.

Thanks,
Krista

We've taken that train 7 times now and believe it or not, I cannot find a picture of the outside of the train! I think we were always runnign for it and had our hands full of baggage. It is a train ride that we will never forget though. I have plenty of shots from inside the cabin. I'll ask my other friends who adopted from Saratov and see if any of them have a picture that we could email you.

Are you still in touch with your facilitator? You might see if they can take a picture and email it to you. Also, try the Saratov yahoo group, someone must have a pciture.

Probably too late, but...

I was just searching "Saratov Adoption" to see what's up and saw your post from a few years ago. Hope you found what you needed when you needed it :O)

I could not believe how completely sweltering that train was in the dead of winter. We bought two goat's wool shawls from Gypsies who got on at one stop and off at another. They should really wash the wool before the knit with it!!! Great memories, though. :-)
