Prayers needed for a miracle
My friend did a domestic adoption for a baby girl named Kylen around the same time we adopted Alex. Kylen is 29 months old and has been in a deep coma since last Saturday and her condition is getting worse. Her family needs a miracle and Kylen's mom is asking for everyone she knows to spread the word that Kylen in Iowa needs lots of prayers of healing to help her wake up.

I have been crying about this all day. Each update has been worse than the last and things are not looking good. Without some improvement it looks like the hospital will recommend that they stop life support as she is no longer breathing on her own. I have attached the prayer chain image that was created for Kylen.

Kylen somehow escaped from the house last Saturday. The family realized almost right away that she was missing and called 911 and started searching. She was found submersed in her kiddie pool in the backyard and the medical estimate is that she was without oxygen for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

It all happened so fast... please remember that toddlers can drown in an inch or two of water. Empty water tables, kiddies pools, etc after each use... and install door alarms for most curious toddlers will try to escape at one time or another.

Most importantly, pass this along and get the prayer chain going... prayers are needed now. I am so devastated for my friend that I can barely function...
