Please pray.
We have had excessive amounts of rain in the last several days and now there is flooding.
Not directly in my area, but friends and family just a few miles from me are starting to have flooding in the streets and it could get worse tomorrow. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you, Vicki

It has been crazy here!! We have a few friends we can't get ahold of who live right on rivers and creeks.
DH couldn't get to his one office this morning--the whole area was under water. Can't wait for it to dry out!

The sun is out here, but the city is in bad shape. Dh works in the city and it's horrible, homes and businesses are flooded including Comcast and Penske.
I feel for everyone whose home or business is flooded.

I live near the Delaware. We aren't affected but Port Jervis and Matamoras are in pretty bad shape. Houses that got flood out in the spring of 2005 are now back underwater. I feel so bad for those people.
My thoughts and prayers are with thoose who are affected.

Here are pics from near DH"s office that he couldn't get to until this afternoon.
Thankfully everything was fine with their building though. I feel so terrible for everyone affected by this.

Hi Vicki... Prayers have been going up for days now!! I had sooooo many family members in Wilkes-Barre area that lived through the 1972 FLOOD! They have almost all past, and in a way, glad (at the age they would have been) that they did not have to go the anxiety that this has brought 100,000's of people. The family members that are still there, are young and easily evacuated.
It is looking sooooo much better up there at this point, and hopefully all will return and recover soon!

We lived in an area hard hit by the "Flood of '93" in the Missouri and Mississippi River basins. I remember how devastating it was for so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with your friends, family and all those of the area.
