Hannah's a Florida girl now! (swim pics)
Hi everyone!
We are doing great...Hannah is adapting better to her new life than I could have ever hoped for. My sister and Mom had a "meet Hannah" party for us last night, and of course, Hannah was wonderful and loved all the attention! After 3 days home, we took her swimming for the first time. It is so hot here, and we had to get her used the water, and QUICK! She did great, and as you can see, she LOVED it! She is already kicking and splashing and dunking her face in the water...she is a Florida girl after all!(the other kids are her cousins). We are so happpy! Those of you still waiting..it is soo worth everything we went through. Hang in there!! Love, Hannah's mommy  PS..Another GODinstance...my friend put Hannah's birthday in her computer program to estimate her "conception date"....and it would have been around Oct. 5th 2004. We applied to our adoption agency on Oct. 4, 20004. (and considering the time change...that is pretty crazy huh??!!) God has it all planned out for our good, we just have to trust Him!!!

Praying for a baby girl under 1 year 10/7/04 Signed with Agency 12/04 Completed home study 1/21/05 Completed Dossier 1/25/05 Received I-171H 3/7/05 Dossier to Kemerovo  9/30/05-Got THE CALL! 10/11/05-Had to let her go...medicals  11/05-turned down second referral....medicals Dec. 05-Expired dossier redone Dec 05-sent dossier to Izhevsk 3/13/06 received REFERRAL!  3/16/06 ACCEPTED HER!!  4/8/06...First trip!!!!  Lost referral in-country got a new one! 4/11/06 Signed for a 9 1/2 month old girl!! 5/16/06 Leaving on Trip 2 COURT DATES May 23 and 25th! 5/26/06 GOTCHA!! our prayers have been answered!! We welcome our sweet angel Hannah to our family! 6/2/06 Home forever!

Isn't it interesting how life works? We had a very similiar situation with Sophia and her approx conception date - and with Sam and the day he was abandoned (same day we signed with agency). I'm so very happy for you and your family! Christina

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Oh Amy!! She is so precious!!! I am so happy for you and your whole family!! I got goose bumps when I read about Hannah's conception date. God works in mysterious ways, and I believe all things happen for a reason!
Enjoy your precious moments bonding with Hannah and post more pictures when you get a "free" moment!

Amy - she is so precious! Love the little bikini. My DS adapted very well to FL, too. He loves to be outside and loves the water.
