Has anyone adopted from the orphanage in the town of Pokrov?

I have recently rec'd information that my son's bio sister may be there.

I can't find anything on it.

I checked with the Vladimir group I belong to and found and orphanage in Kovror, this may be the one you are looking for.

I was kind of thinking that myself but I did find one thing about Pokrov- it is rumored there used to be a bio warfare plant there

Pokrov is about 80 km to the West of Vladimir

It is an internat.

Found three of the sisters that were in Pokrov. We visited them this last month on the East Coast! We are still looking for one more sister. (She was not sent to Pokrov) Keep your fingers crossed.

Hey! We were in Vladimir region but were Alexandrov. Have tried multiple times to join the Ya__ Vladimir and/or Alexandrov group, but for some bizarre reason, they absolutely will not have me, so, best of luck to you. I have been shut out (and confused and stranged out) for years. If you ever DO get in, please think of PM'ing me. I have had nothing but good things to say about our agency. The individual orphanage? Not so much, as Borat would say. But to be shut out since 1997 seems, um, excessive?
