It was the cutest thing...both daddy and I were in tears at points! They made such a big deal out of it...they had programs to hand out, had the kids perform, had a powerpoint presentation of photos taken through the year with the song 'Forever Friends' playing, and then the actual graduation ceremony.
It's so heartwarming to remember that tiny and ever so sick baby girl sitting in a Russian hospital with only a rag to play with and then see my daughter...chosen out of all the kiddo's to be 'the American flag holder' just 4 short years later...and she sang the solo of 'This is the way we roll the flag.' Oh were the tears flowing. Here's some pictures...one of her in the above mentioned crib (we brought the toy..it is the pic in the upper right hand cornerin the collage attachment)...and then the rest from last night. To anyone in this difficult process...it is sooo worth it..every single bump and heartache.

Thanks for sharing.
I have the Pre-k graduation for my two kiddos on tuesday evening at the highschool. I started crying when we picked-up the cap and gown. It is at these special moments that I think of what their lives might have been like. Arianna is so sweet, congratulations.

She's beautiful! I had the same feeling this morning when I when to Natalya's preschool "Muffins for Mom" this morning. They sang a song about how much Mommy meant to them. I started crying. It is sooo worth it!
