Same agency and definitely same region. I am sure there are other great regions, but we found the accomodations very comfortable which did a lot to help us cope with the traveling. I would love to go back one day and see how things have changed and report back on how our daughter is doing.

We adopted our son from the Moscow City and we are using the same agency to adopt our second son from Moscow City.
We were very happy with our first adoption and so far everything has been moving right along with our second adoption. Although the Moscow staff has changed since we adopted our son, 7 years ago, the new staff is just as wonderful as the staff we dealt with. We actually bumped into the translator and coordinator from our first adoption during our first trip for this adoption. It was nice to see them again and we were showing them pictures of our son. Our current coordinator knew them and asked us prior to us bumping into them who was our prior coordinator when we adopted our son. She was the one who saw them and brought us over to them to say hi. |

The region was nice because it was a short drive to Moscow and they seemed to really care about the kids. However, the program I adopted through no longer exists.

Same region, same agency. I'd love to go back to the same baby house, but I'd be open to another region! I agree, it'd be nice not to travel too far from Moscow, though! I'd be okay with doing it again. Well, I may be starting again soon, so......

I think our family is complete, but if we were adopting again, I would be happy to go back to either region we adopted from previously.
I don't have major complaints about either agency we used, but... in re-researching for our second adoption, we ultimately decided to use a different agency the second time around. For me, I wouldn't be comfortable going with the same agency "just because" we liked them the first time around (situations, staff, etc changes), but both agencies would be on my "short list."

Although my daughter is a pleasure, I would not adopt from Russia again. Too much paperwork, bureaucracy, money, and health risks. Sorry to be so blunt. that's just how I feel.

I woul dlove togo back to St. Petersburg, such a beautiful city and easy in and out as far as travel is concerned. As far as the agency, I will use the same one again. I loved the in country treatment and we were impressed with the professionalism of our court people and our translators were wonderful. I also like the fact that we were chaperoned back to Moscow by a person from the Agency just to make sure we were all set.

I would go back to Khabarovsk in a heartbeat, even with the 9 hour flight. My only stipulation would be that DD come along, cuz that is one crazy long time to be away from her.
Wouldn't use the same agency again though. and not opposed to going to a different region either. We'll make it back to Khabarovsk one way or another.

I am adopting from St. Petersburg. I would consider adopting from here again, but know that there are much easier regions.
I will not use my agency again. Kate
