I don't know where you are so I can't tell you.
 Are you on Pacific time? It's 6:37 p.m. right now in St. P...and it would be 7:37 am Pacific time.I am a natural night-owl (LOVE it when I can sleep from 1 a.m. to 9:30 a.m....) forced into the sleeping patterns of an elementary school teacher. Aaaa!

I love it!!! Way to tempt the adoption gods!!!!!
For us.....we got our travel news as a hurricane Ivan was forming and then headed straight for us! Talking about inconvenient! I had to prepare to travel and prepare to evacuate all at the same time! Our visas couldn't be delivered because the airports closed. We had to pick them up in Texas!!!!! I really pray our trip #2 travel isn't as "exciting" this time! I think I will try the shopping spree and vacation temptation this time!

You're on the right track: vacation plans, travel arrangements, potential injury that makes travel problematic...hmm, what else might help to "trigger" the call, heh, heh.
Maybe plan a special romantic dinner/date night with DH, start a (small) home renovation, fake putting your house on the market and buying a new one (lots of annoying open houses, realtor appts, etc.) invite family to come to visit/stay over...surely all these things can combine to get you the good news you so richly deserve! RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING!

my girlfriend has been waiting over a year for a referral from china. they decided to buy a cottage and finalized the deal last week. so, of course, they got their referral the next day.

I had a nervours breakdown the night before I received the call. Repeat after me in a really really LOUD VOICE,
"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Oh yeah you have to cry like a 3 yr old too  I am praying you get that call SOON. I DO FEEL IT COMING!!

No call yet, but I did almost end up on the 11 o'clock news, when my INS fingerprinting appt went terribly wrong!! I so wish I could post the whole fiasco here, but suffice to say its all good and I will be re-printed next week, as I head out of town for school. all packed no where to go!!! Ü

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007
