Brought Zone type meal bars, dried fruit and nuts for long car journeys. I tend to get really hungry and can't wait. These were easy to travel with. Otherwise, we ate local foods.
We didn't bring anything for DS, who was 8 mos at the time. We bought all of his food in Russia so that he wouldn't have any stomach problems.
