Doing it again!
Well guys...it looks like I am going to go through this crazy adventure again. We were going to adopt through China, but have since decided to go back to Russia. We are looking for an agency which I think is just brutal. Anyway, I will start getting neurotic after the application is sent in
 Please try and calm me down!

Going back for #2!!!! Registered in Moscow  Going to meet a little girl!!! 1st trip Oct 6 - 11 !!!! We met Madeline Elizabeth!!! Court Date Scheduled November 16!! Court Trip - Nov 14 - 19 3rd Trip Nov 24 - December 1!!!! - Our daughter is home

Calm you down!!!! no way....how very exciting for you and your family. I am jealous even though we just came back in December. I loved the whole experience and if I had the money I'd do it again in a heartbeat. MAybe someday...I haven't won the lottery YET!!
YEAH for you guys and I can't wait to read about the journey!!! HEY UPDATE YOUR SIGGY.....

Congratulations on going for number two! That's very exciting. I'm assuming from you previous post that you are adopting a girl?

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Holy cow Amanda!!! I have been following the China boards a little bit and it does seem like things are taking a little longer there. Will you try for St. Petersburg again? Best of luck with the agency search - at least you know what to look for on round #2! Get out that blue pen!

Thank you everybody! Yes, we are going to ask for a girl this time. China is going very slow right now, and it just seems like we are drawn to Russia. I am not sure if we will go to St. Pete this time.
It is so funny because Drew was born 4 days before we sent our application in....I am just wondering where my daughter is!!!!

Amanda--congrats on getting started again!!! very exciting! We also just started for #2, I have not reached any anxiety point yet, maybe it is easier with it being the second time around?
 Good luck and hopefully we can comiserate and celebrate the process together!
