Hey everyone!
Since we are going to Russia in a few weeks, we thought it would be neat to set up a blog.
Does it send it to the people you put on the address list when you make a new entry? Just curious how it works!!

It's relatively easy...most BLOGing services offer templated "menu-driven" setup procedures. Blogger, the Google service that I use for this is pretty slick, although it's helpful to have someone familiar with web coding to help you refine a few things in the sidebars, such as links you may want to include to things like your agency, this forum site, etc. The BLOG feature here at Adoption.com may be similar...I'm not familiar with it. What's nice, however, about all of them is that they let you publish your entries and so forth very easily, either via a web page or be sending an email to a particular address. Blogger even added local picture storage not long ago which made it much easier to post pictures, too. (Again, I don't know how this site's blogging facilities work.

Amy I used a site that I updated and people went to it to read if they had the address and the password. It was nice to be able to keep everyone we wanted in the loop updated. PM me if you wish

So Jim would you be that person? I started ours on Blooger and cannot for the life of me figure out the links thing--I am baffled! The directions make it sound easy and then I get in there and nothing works!!

Many of you have pmed me with the ones you use...now, how do I pick? Are there specific things to look for? Benefits of one over the other?
Of course I have so many other things to do besides worry about blogs..but you know how it is....anything to do but PACK! haha

Hey Amy! I used Blogger too. I am way behind in the computer world, but I found it simple to use. Of course if I were as talented as Jim, I could probably jazz it up a little, but for now I can post pictures and events so my family and friends can catch up on whats going on with the babies. Plus with having the littles ones home and running around, it doesn't take long to post your story/pics.
