Adoption #2 - it's a BOY!
We got my Foster son J when he was 7 weeks old. He was born addicted to multiple drugs and spent those 7 weeks in the hospital going through withdrawl. We picked him up from the hospital and have had him ever since. He's going to be two very soon. He's a beautiful little boy!
It was a rollercoaster ride of emotion whether or not he would be returned to his parents. Yesterday both parents signed over their rights. J is LEGALLY FREE for us to adopt him! They said that within the next 3 months all the paperwork will be filed and J will be ours!!!! That little voice in the back of my head of how horrible it would be to lose him is now gone. I can't even believe it. I just wanted to share, Jake now has a brother. I call them the J team.

Congratulations!!! WE were through a similar situation, and weren't so lucky (our luck came when we went to Russia a couple of years later :-), so I know what a HUGE deal this is!!! So happy for you!!!
