azhellos-
check out a few agency websites - many of them will have a grid with what the general guidelines are for each country. (Length of marriage, age of parents, etc)

by the way

Kazan was a one trip region during both adoptions - we were out of country for 12 days for each. It's a pretty large city with a really cool walking street full of shops and a McDonald's. First time judge was super nice, second time judge grilled us, but everything worked out. Nice people, orphanage workers were very nice - but facility was pretty rundown. We took a train the first time, but had to fly the second time. Again, email me if you have more questions. I really enjoyed Kazan (as much as possible) but of course I have a soft spot for it now - as you can imagine.

We are looking into a referral from Kazan. What can you share with us about your two adoptions?
Thank you!

We are in the middle of an adoption in Kazan. We already made trip 1 and are going back for the second (and final) trip in a couple days. The second trip is about 3 weeks long. Please feel free to IM or post any specific questions if I can be of help.

Kazan is a pretty good sized city of about 1.1 million. Fairly modern city. It is located about 450 miles east of Moscow. Flight takes just over an hour from Moscow.
