Waiting for a referral??
I searched for Ktates old thread - and happily noticed that several of the posters on that list had referrals, so how about a new roll call? I'll start

When was your dossier registered - 03/06
What age range have you requested - up to 18 mo
What gender have you requested? - either
What region? - Smolensk
Are you waiting on accredidation? - No
Do you have a referral timeline? - Yes 6-12 mo

11/21-Dossier sent to Russia for translation
2006:
1/12 - Rcvd 171-H - sent to Russia for transl.
3/6 - Officially Registered in Smolensk!!!
5/17 - Waiting on reaccreditation (NGO rcvd)
10/13/06 - Accepted Referral of 24 mo old boy
2007:
Feb - redid entire dossier and fingerprints....
May 31 - June 8 TRIP 1!!!
June 28th - received new 171-H
Aug 1 - court
Aug 9 - home forever with Cole!

What region? - well...the country of Kyrgyzstan (now too old for infant from Russia)

Wow! Perfect timing. I was going to start a post with our *updated* status. I think that we am officially 'waiting' now. We applied to our agency a while back, but yesterday, I priority/certified receipt mailed the signed contract and deposit. Whoooo Hoooo!
Everything I am writing below, I plan to request as soon as I hear back from our agency.

  • CeltiaSkye – 02/06 for a child under 18 mo in Kalingrad. 2-7 mo timeframe
  • his,mine&ours - 03/06 in Smolensk for a child up to 18 months. 6-12 mo timeframe
  • jroc – waiting on registration in a “friendly” region for a child 8-10 months old. <6 month timeframe.
  • Kasey – waiting on registration in Kirov or other for a girl under 18 mo. 4-6 mo timeframe
  • Kizibits - 10/05 in Tver for a girl up to 18 mo. 4-10 mo timeframe
  • LouLouBelle – 5/05 for any region for a girl under 12 months – any time now !?!?!
