Hi Waiters,
I know that we do not have our children home yet, but we can still make a difference. Although we cannot tell a story with a happy ending, we can tell the media that that most Russian adoptions...99.9% of them have happy endings. That the children are loved more than anything and cherished. We can tell them that there are many stories of Russian adoptions...positive ones. We need the Russian gov. to see that IA's are important and a good thing. We have to tell them what will happen to these children if they stop IA's. Every child deserves a home, a chance to be loved. Don't be afraid to tell them your story..even if you do not have your children home yet. I can tell a perfect stanger my story, and by the end they are in tears....it can only help to have stories like ours out there..people that have only met their children once, or have only dreamed about them...we can all make a difference. So please write letters, make phone calls, write emails...tell everyone you know about it, use your resources. Anyone you might know in media...any groups you belong to..you never know who might be listening that could help us make a difference, help us fight for these childrens right to have a family. Dont despair "waiters: write, email, call and tell everyone what you are doing. Thank you for all your support, -Bdaddy's other half ( highjacked his ID..hehe!)

This is great. The worst part of the wait is feeling so helpless. Someone has to listen!!
I have started with an e-mail to Oprah. I will continue our campaign in anyway I can starting with the list you gave. I will ponder any other resources we could be utilizing. |
