Finally pictures!!
Hi everyone....
Though many of you may have forgotten, I am sending some pictures. I don't know what order they will show up in, but I think the first one is our first picture with Emma at the orphanage. The 2nd is a professional picture we had done. In order to get her to take the picture, I had to clap for her, and her hands are still in the air from her clapping back! The third is of me and Ava (who is already 5 mos old!) and the last should be Emma in her Christmas dress. Hope you enjoy! Casey

Robin He has one, she has two, now adopting one together. 2005: 2/05 - 7/05- Research process/agencies 7/25-Submitted app to agency & I-600A to USCIS. 8/26 & 9/8-Homestudy interviews and visit to our home 10/12-Homestudy approved-mailed to USCIS 11/8-Fingerprint appts; dossier sent for apostilling 11/21-Dossier sent to Russia for translation 2006: 1/12 - Rcvd 171-H - sent to Russia for transl. 3/6 - Officially Registered in Smolensk!!! 5/17 - Waiting on reaccreditation (NGO rcvd) 10/13/06 - Accepted Referral of 24 mo old boy  2007: Feb - redid entire dossier and fingerprints.... May 31 - June 8 TRIP 1!!! June 28th - received new 171-H Aug 1 - court Aug 9 - home forever with Cole!

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Thanks everyone!! They are doing great. Emma has been home six months now. We have had some delays, but she is walking around everywhere and starting to talk a bit. She has about 12 words that she says now. She is such a joy. She wasn't too sure about Ava when she was first born, but now realizes we love both of them, and she thinks her little sister is pretty neat.
We aren't able to leave Emma yet....she still gets very upset if we leave her with anyone but my mom, so we can't leave her in the nursery at church. We do take Ava though, and this last time, when we left Ava, Emma started pointing to her and crying, like "please don't leave my sister"...it was very sweet, but I think it was also good for her to see us leave Ava, but come back as well.
