I thought we could make a list of the regions that are requiring the FBI clearance letter.

We were not required to have it when we traveled to Tyumen.

I hate to sound stupid again, but what is this FBI clearance letter?

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Yes for Ekaterinburg - no older than 90 days at time of court

Birobidjan might be requiring it now...not sure. Some friends going to Biro with a different agency than mine are now required to have it. Hopefully I will find out on Tuesday.

After talking to our SW Friday, she said not required for the Udmurtia Region so far..........possibly in the future though

Need finger print cards
We are waiting for our court date in Biro and found out we FBI clearance. We can't find cards and our police department won't take the ones that are down loaded
