I have been absolutely SHOCKED at how fast Ana has grown. We have been home two and a half months now. She turned four late November. She was 30 pounds when we arrived in the US. She has gained four pounds and grown four inches. Getting her to eat was a struggle at first but now she eats almost everything. She's 100% Americanized in the fact that she would eat pizza 24/7. She does still love soup! We've gone from a 3T to a 4T and now into size 4.

Anyway, I am curious as to how much some of your little ones grew. My MIL laughs and says, a little food along with some love and they grow better than weeds.

At Gabe's 15 month check-up (he came home at 10 months) he had gained almost 8 lbs. and grown 5 inches in the 5 months he had been home. The change is amazing!

Maddox has an appointment on the 9th. We will have had him 2 months by then. I feel like he is growing so much, especially height! I can;t wait to see what he has gained in the two months and how much he has grown!

We have been home two months and three weeks and our four year old is growing like crazy. The doctor said he is in the 100th percentile for height. He said, our four year old is much bigger than four year olds his age. He is still fitting into a size 4T, but the pants, sweats etc... are very short on him.

Our two year old has outgrown all of her clothes and she is growing faster than he is. She was a little peanut, but now she is gaining weight and has gotten taller as well.

Sam and Ana are on the same track. He was 30lbs when we got home at 3 years, 2 months. He was 4 in September and he is 34lbs. He has grown 6 inches. He came home with Giardia and it took months to see a difference in him. He only just gained the 4lbs these past few months and had a 2 inch growth spurt at that time as well.

We have only had ours home about 11 days. Our son was sick when we came home so he went in on 12/28 and weighed 21 lbs 10 ozs. One week later at the recheck, he weighed 23 lbs 1 oz. Even the doctor was surprised by the quick gain!

Well Maddox has his 15 month check up the other day and he grew over 2 inches in less than 2 months! The doctor said he is doing great!!!

He is 24 pounds and 32 inches tall! He is 15 months old!

Wow! My son came home at 6 months and was 17 poounds. Over year later, at almost 22 months, he weighs 30 pounds (yes, he is a big boy) and is 31 inckes tall. He grew so fast at first and now thankfully, it is slowing a bit. Though his rapid growth was a great excuse to go shopping.

Yes, it's amazing what good food, getting healthy, and lots of love will do for them!

Our son has been home almost 6 months and has gained 8 pounds and grown 4 1/2 inches. It's absolutely amazing! And now he looks so healthy, too!

Nat was 39 lbs and 40 inches tall at 5 years 3 months.
At 7 yrs she is 51 lbs and over 49 inches tall.

That's over 9 inches and 12 lbs in under 21 months. - AND she is still thin! 4 clothing sizes, and the size 8's are getting small.

She was so small when I met her -- at least smaller than her friends - now she is the tall one.

She is only 11 inches shorter than me now. I joke I will have to look to the sky to send her to her room when she is 10.
