The first adoption was the hardest to wait. I just kept thinking about each stage of her life I was missing. Did she have somebody to love her and hold her? Was she hungry? Was she sick? Was she cold? It was agonizing. When we adopted Jonah 9 months ago, he was literally dying. Each day seemed like an eternity. But we made it with the help and support of many "friends" on lists like this one.
