Hi Joey, Hang in there - it will happen! The adoption of my two daughters from Romania took 2 years. I am sure yours will not take as long but am also sure that it seem that long. No matter how long it takes, when your are waiting for your child any amount of time seems too long. Which agency are you using and how far are you in the process?

I think the waiting is the absolute hardest part of the adoption. We were so fortunate because each of our adoptions were completed in 2-4 months total. Still THAT even seemed like a lifetime. The first adoption was the hardest to wait. I just kept thinking about each stage of her life I was missing. Did she have somebody to love her and hold her? Was she hungry? Was she sick? Was she cold? It was agonizing. When we adopted Jonah 9 months ago, he was literally dying. Each day seemed like an eternity.
