We had NO information about his birthmom or her pregnancy so we were very in the dark. But he is also very healthy. The biggest issue we are dealing with is possible hyper-activity from our son. But learning so much about it early in his life is helping us identify possible issue in his future. I would look up FAE on the web. There are some wonderfully informative sites to go to. Good luck Sue
