We will be praying here!As the heart is enlarged right now I would be pressing to go to the cardiologist ASAP ....even if it is nothing this should NOT be left in my opinion.I was a heart baby myself as well as having a son with major heart problems who has had open heart surgery as well as a daughter with mild hole in heart .It is better to be cautious about things like this and I know if it was my child I would be insisiting on expert opinion not just the GP .
Chances are he is right and it is nothing , but why waste 10 days waiting to see of the antibiotics work .I would NOT be getting too worried however as these things are fixable.A friend came back with her daughter and a couple of weeks later found out she was going into heart failure and was rushed to the child hospital in our country...she is now a HEALTHY Happy 7 year old !! Had she been much longer in Russia however who knows what would have happened... You daughter is right where she needs to be with YOU and near good Drs .We will keep her and you in our prayers. Ann

Thank you everyone for your thoughts, support and prayers.
As some of you have mentioned, I do not want to wait ten days for the Dr's opinion. I want her to see a cardiologist now to make sure that she is okay. Since I do not need a referral from a doctor to take my daughter to a cardiologist, I am starting to search for cardiologists now. I hope I can find one that will take her as quickly as possible. Again, thank you everyone. I really appreciate your support and your insight.
