Some thoughts & prayers for our son

Hello everyone. Our 6yo son goes in for a cath procedure tomorrow at 10:00. We did ask for conscious sedation (thanks to those who responded previously w/ advice) and tomorrow is the day for that. I'm nervous and our son will freak out once in the hospital and in the gown. Traumatized from many surgeries in the past on his clubfoot. So if you don't mind, please keep Bojan in your thoughts and prayers for us. It would mean alot. MOm's more nervous I think than anyone. They are looking for any blockages. I'll let everyone know how it goes . Take care & I'll be away from the boards for a few days as there are many other things going on in our lives right now.

Have a great week & congrats on the many travel dates. Progress is being made.

Stephanie

Stephanie, I'm sure he'll come through like a champ, but maybe the doc would allow a little conscious sedation for Mom, too? Best wishes for it all to go smoothly.

Hi Stephanie - I just said a prayer for you and Bojan. Please let us know how things turned out when you get a free minute (and with five kids, I know that is pretty rare). -Mike

Bojan and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is as hard (if not harder!) for you than it is for him.
Please let us know how everything goes!

Your family is in our prayers. I hope the doctors can make him comfortable (and you). Conscious sedation is great. Our ped suggested it for our son when he had surgery so he would have no recollection of the surgery-and he does not. He figured he had gone through enough already in his short little life and did not need the trauma of surgery. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow morning.

God bless. Maybe they can give you the "I Don't Care" (that's what they called it) medicine that I had when I went in for a procedure last summer. By the time you DO care, it's over.
