Gotcha Finally
Hi-
We got him-Our trip was a nightmare but I will not bore you guys w/ the details now-We got home on Saturday and my DH left-for New Orleans on Sun. He is a cop-his SWAT teams has been ther for a week-so duty calls-It was heartbreaking for us both when he left-he did say he hopes one day Patrick(our little man) will be proud of his Dad for going to help others when we just got home and after waiting for what seemed like a lifetime. Keep us in your prayers.
Our camera was stolen at the Moscow airport-but I'm "clicking" away and will post pics as soon as figure out how this camera works- Love ya all-and waiters hang in your time is comming.

Great news, Michelle. Sorry about your camera, that stinks! Best of luck to your husband. It's hard to be away when you want to be home so badly! Maybe you can email him some pictures if he can get access to a computer.

Congrats, Michele and welcome home Patrick! Sorry to hear your DH had to go so quickly. But he sounds like an honorable man, and your son will be proud of him.
And snap away with that new camera! We want to see pics! We just brought home our son - gotcha day was 8/24. Can't take enough pictures of him!

Congratulations and welcome home! I'm so sorry for the timing for your husband, but you and your child can be very proud of his service to others -- that's a fine example to be setting already.

So sorry about your camera, but keep clicking away -- the best pix are the ones that are already locked inside your memories forever. God bless you and your family. 7/25-Submitted app to agency & I-600A to USCIS.
8/26 & 9/8-Homestudy interviews and visit to our home
10/12-Homestudy approved-mailed to USCIS
11/8-Fingerprint appts; dossier sent for apostilling
11/21-Dossier sent to Russia for translation
2006:
1/12 - Rcvd 171-H - sent to Russia for transl.
3/6 - Officially Registered in Smolensk!!!
5/17 - Waiting on reaccreditation (NGO rcvd)
10/13/06 - Accepted Referral of 24 mo old boy
2007:
Feb - redid entire dossier and fingerprints....
May 31 - June 8 TRIP 1!!!
June 28th - received new 171-H
Aug 1 - court
Aug 9 - home forever with Cole!

I am thrilled for you . I know those first days home are exhausting and can be a little disorienting. I'm sorry that your DH has been pulled away so soon, but he is certainly doing a good thing.

If you lost most pictures of your region and orphanage, you may want to start a post to see if someone can share their scenery pictures from your region????? Just an idea.
