ANY Good News?
Anyone have any good news? any court dates, referrals, anything ?

Our homestudy agency called today to schedule our first appointment. Not big good news like a referral or a court date, but it's a start.

We received referrals for two little girls last week, siblings under 3. And..................the doctor's reports came back wonderful!!!!!
 So, we just accepted the referrals today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't have a travel date yet, but estimated time to go to Novosirbirsk and see "our girls" (I love saying that!) is Mid-October. After 13 months of "officially waiting" for a referral I can't express enough how happy DH and I are. I'm praying for all of you everyday that are still waiting for your phones to start ringing.

We got confirmed to leave for Trip #2 Friday...court date is Sept. 20th!!!!!

Started adoption process 1/10/04 3/04 Completed Dossier for Azerbijan 4/04 Azerbijan closed 5/04 New agency, new dossier Rep of Georgia ROG never happened. 09/20/04 Domestic situation #1 fell through 03/28/05 Domestic situation #2 fell through 6/1/05 Learned about waiting child in Russia 6/5/05 Changed agencies-accepted referral 6/24/05 Trip 1 Trip 2 Canceled 3 times 9/16/05 Trip 2 9/20/05 Court! 09/24/05 HOME!!!!!

Got an "unofficial referral" of a pretty little girl! May be traveling SOON on trip ONE!
