Anyone who can get in touch with Maia please give her this number...225-578-6111. They will go get her cats. Also, she has to go get a tetnus shot soon because of that nail. A HepA and B would not hurt as well. Please give her my best wishes.

Tracy - You will be happy to know that Maia was able to get her cats out (healthy and VERY happy to see her) AND she got a shot for the foot at a medical clinic set up in her Parish.
How wonderful of you to be concerned for others in the midst of your mess. Please know, that if you want to move to Canada - we have a spare room you are welcome to use  Jen

Tracy, I second what Jen has said it is wonderful for you to be concerned for others during your time of hardship.
Same goes for us, if you want to come to Pennsylvania we have a spare bedroom and a rec room if you are welcome to use anytime.

Please tell her I am so happy for her and if she is in touch with anyone ask her where her house is. I have some new info on parts of New Orleans and new satelitte websites. i found my house on them. It is ever so drowned...

Tracy,
Maia was able to get to NO and see her place first hand a few days ago. She had very little damage and most of the damage was from water. She has a sunken living room and she said it was like a pond. She is staying in Oceanside (I think) Mississippi right now and plans to stay there until they let her go back home for good. Her place is in Metairie - altho I don't know what area. Did you get my voicemail last night? I tried to call again today and got the voice mail again, I hope you're doing ok
