Mike, I hope William is doing better. Talk about adding stress to the first day of school tension. UGH! good luck tomorrow taking Julia to school - what a big girl!

Mike - so sorry to hear about William. I will keep him in my prayers. What stresses you have right now. Praying for your whole family.

Fun to chit chat! I guess I don't have much to say though. We have had almost 3 weeks of no rain in Seattle. I love it when it is nice here but our lawn is paying the price.

Here's a chit chat item: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? I have always wanted to go to Bali. After the bombing there a couple of years ago, not so much, but it seems so exotic and remote. I guess now I would like to go to Turtle Island. I think only twelve couples are allowed on the island at a time. I LOVE just laying on the beach and doing abosolutely nothing. Guess that will change when my two kiddos get here.

Mike...oh I guess I didn't remember you had a son too. I hate to hear that he had to visit the hospital...poor thing. I am glad to hear that about the ER...I worked in the ER and it can get crazy but we had some great docs and nurses...HUGS to William that he gets to feeling better soon...

I am so excited to hear about Julia's first day!!!!

But I guess for now my beach is my pool in the backyard...I'll take it for now!

Ok - I am late catching up on this but I think the chit chat thread is a great idea!!! I was thinking about that after last weeks chat and I know there are a couple on the general board (brat's om) and I think there is a BTE (Best thread ever) same idea though. Then we can catch up on non-adoption type things and a little stress relief for some!

Mike - I hope your little guy is doing better - lumbar puncture - YIKES! I guess you either need double the valium now with Julia's first school day or maybe Will is just trying to make your mind off Julia...but it's probably double the valium!

Rainy - I'm glad to hear Sands is doing ok - I waswondering what happened to her!

My internet was down this weekend so I am busy catching up on all your posts Shay! Aisling is doing well - she was supposed to get another treatment at the hospital last week but her test results came back fine so they sent us home! Yea!

I know some of you do baby sign with your kids so you can appreciate this:
-the last experience at the hospital was "a day of misery" to quote the nursing staff - well Aisling must have remembered because all the nurse did was try to listen to her heart and take her measurements and Aisling is giving us the "all done" sign!!! She was not happy. Then last night I went to check on her before I went to bed and she was making the sign for "more" while sleeping! I wonder what she is dreaming about!

I need to take some pics - every time I see Daria pics I realize how bad I am taking pics of Aisling!
Karen

Yeah Karen, I'm glad to hear that Aislings results were fine. That is awesome!

Ok, odd question here, but any suggestions on what I can feed Grace w/ cream cheese on it? She loves the plain whipped cream cheese and I have been spreading it on waffles (gross, I know) but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I love hearing finger food suggestions! Anyone have any new finger food hits?

Karen~So glad to hear your good news for Aisling...hospitals are no fun!!

Shay~Enjoy while you can that Daria is not walking...it's like talking...I couldn't wait for Alex to start...now I want him to stop...please...for just a little while!

Brit~How about strawberries or bananas...softer fruits...can't think of any veggies off hand other than carrots or celery but she is probably too young for that. Rice cakes???

Mike~How is poor William doing? And Julia's first day? And how are YOU!

Wow, you guys are busy in this thread...I just read this last page...eeks!
