Hi all,

My husband and I have adopted a girl from Kursk who is now 26months old. We brought her home last july. We are trying to get together all families who have adopted from Kursk and who live in Long Island, New york. We are trying to plan a get together and hopefully we can do something every year. I think it will be nice for all the children to meet. I would also like to know and be in touch with other families from all over who have adopted from kursk.

Hi, Rose. My name is Lola - Olya and I also came home July of 2004. I don't know if you are the same person, but there was a couple on the train the same day we were. We took the evening train from Kursk to Moscow on July 16th.

That's nice that you are trying to find people who have adopted from Kursk. I would love for our children to meet each other someday. We live in Texas - not close to you at all! We could certainly keep in touch and exchange e-mails and photos, and maybe someday meet somewhere.

Olya is 30 months old - it's very possible that our daughters were in the same group. Cool!!

There doesn't seem to be a yahoo group for the Kursk blast yet.
Usually different agencies work in different regions - so you should try contacting your agency.
