How was the gathering?
Hi ,
Just wondered how the NJ/PA gathering went. I hope everyone had a good time, we are sorry we were not able to make it, but Alex still was not well. Were there any new faces this time? Vicki

We were new faces!
It was lots of fun. So many cute kids! I have not had a chance to go through my pictures to see if any came out good. A big thanks to skiboo for organizing it!

2/17/04 Signed up with Agency. Chose Rostov-on-Don region (this agency requires you to select a region up front) 4/22/04 All required documents sent to agency 9/20/04 Got appointment date to travel to Rostov-On-Don (blind referral as expected) 10/5/04 Met our daugher for the first time 12/7/04 Court date 12/18/04 Home with Rebecca (born 4/15/03) 4/24/06 Signed contract with agency to do it again

Vicki - it was a nice event and there were lots of new faces - which we love.
Some things were the same - we all talked a mile a minute and our kids keep getting cuter. We got to see some new referral pictures, which is always a blast. We will continue to see new pint sized faces over the next months. Lots of travel coming up. Loved meeting you all - old and new.

Waiting has pretty much said it all...we had a great time and met many new people. I couldn't get my daughter off of the toy tractors---not even to go on the wagon ride! I was looking for you, I didn't realize that Alex was sick. We'll have to catch you next time. I have a few good pictures...but it seems like Skiboo has better ones. I enjoyed meeting everyone and I'll be waiting anxiously to hear updates! Thanks for a GREAT day Janie! Donna

A Perfect Day!
The Barnyard Bash was a Blast. The weather was perfect -- sunny and warm, but not too humid. We had 32 people in attendance from age 8 months to age 80 (my MIL). It was really wonderful to reconnect with old friends and make new acquaintances. I know that at some date in the future we will have an event with more than 50 (our Christmas gathering had over 40).
Here is a picture of a bunch of us piled on the wagon to go for a ride through the orchards: Edited to Add: This pic is too small.. I will resize it tomorrow when I am not on my laptop.

Hi, Everyone! Just came home an hour ago from our agency. Tonight was our travel seminar with the agency's director. Wow! My head is spinning from all the information!
Anyway, thanks to "waitinginnj" for talking me into going. I had a great time meeting & talking to all of you. And a big thanks to "skiboo" for coordinating the event! I'm looking forward to the next get-together! P.S. to Janie: I had to drive for 30 min. on the way home before I finally found a decent place with a bathroom! Route 1 has nothing but office buildings & trees for miles!

Glad to hear it was fun, sorry we missed it as well, but the beach beckoned.

Glad to hear that Alex is fully recovered Vicki!
As pointed out by anxiousmommy, the only downside to the Orchard was the lack of restrooms (unless you count porta potties)... Here is the picture I have resized:
