Is this normal???

We are less than a week from traveling. DH and I finished all of our last minute things this weekend. We even finished the bathroom which was exciting but was to keep me busy this week. I now have NOTHING to do this week and I am a nervous wreck. I feel like I am going to throw up.

My house is clean, my bags are packed, there's nothing to shop for, my bio daughter is at the beach until Wed so I don't even have her to play with. Just me and the animals.

Did anyone else start to loose it before going? Is this the norm?

Completely normal. Try to relax and treat yourself to something fun. Maybe go see/rent a movie each day between now and when you leave. Or start a new book. Try to think of something that you won't have time for once you have the little one home.

Congratulations!

I second that! Completely normal. And definitely do something for yourself - because you already have a daughter, you know that time on your own doesn't happen very often. Get a manicure/pedicure, see a movie, visit a friend, browse in a bookstore, take a nice long walk...enjoy your Mom-alone time! And before you know it, you'll be on the plane.

Totally normal! Try a little hard labor. Is there any concrete you can blast out or cabinets you can tear out? LOL... take a long drive , roll down the windows, crank the stereo... go to a movie or three. Its hard to wait...

Read and learn more about where you are going. Places you can sightsee on your trip. Read about the culture.

Enjoy the downtime while it lasts. I agree with the Manicure/pedicure solution. Bad reality TV passes time too.

Clean a clost - start your holiday shopping?

I have plenty that needs to be done at my house.

Completely normal. I was a nervous wreck before each of my trips.

read a book

pedicure

pre-cook some meals/soups

go swim in a lake

Enjoy it!!! Today is my first day without my daughter, she's starting school and I don't start work for a few weeks. I can't seem to figure out what to do.
