Anyone have 2nd trip without 8 doctor medical?

Does anyone have an upcoming trip without the 8 doctor medical form I'm hearing about? I've heard people claim (or that their agencies claim) that this is for all regions. I haven't heard anything about it yet, and in our region we had people in court last week who did not need it.

I suspect that like all things involving Russian adoption, this varies by region. Can anyone confirm this is the case? When was this announced? I'm thinking if my agency hasn't said anything to us yet then its not an issuue.

Up until this past Friday I also thought it was a regional thing, but our agency told us on friday that it will be for ALL regions now. We are planning on getting it done in Moscow when we return for trip #2. If we find out we need to have it done BEFORE getting a court date I will just totally lose it!

We were in court in Tula in June and did not have to have it. I would certainly ask your agency about it.

Our agency told me middle of last week that they only know of one region requiring this but that given the state of things, this could change. We were also told that what they require before court can be different for every case; there is no norm.

SO far...we have not been required to bring this form.
However court is not scheduled yet. Second round of paperwork has been submitted.

this has not been mentioned for us. but it has been mentioned that we will need clearance by russian doctors when we come for court. don't know if it will be the 8 doc thing or not. at this point, that's a small concern.

We just asked our agency about this because we got sent home 4-hrs before court due to our medical and police clearances being expired. We renewed the medicals here and asked if they needed to be done in Russia instead. They said no, not at this time. However, because of the mess we had last week. We will be having them check again before we make travel arrangements, so we can plan on getting there a couple days ahead of time to take care of it if need be.
