Back from Russia...YIPPIE!! But now need 8 doctor medical form...BOOO!
Hi Everyone,
We are back from Trip One and have accepted our (blind) referrals!!! They are absolutely adorable and checked out with the medical doc. We are totally in love already and we were soon after meeting them. Frankly, I didnt expect it to happen that way, I thought it would take some time to grow into that feeling. Instead, the love hit me like a ton of bricks. Anyway, we are thrilled beyone belief and are "supposedly" due to go back for trip two within a couple of weeks, although I find that very hard to believe (my trust in Russia has been declining steadily.) In fact, just today (our first day back) our social worker called this morning to say now our region (Kirov) is requiring that 8 doctor medical form PLUS letters from the state licensing boards!!! UGH. I felt like I was going to throw up! Ill take any and all advice on getting that 8 doctor medical form done. And no, our region will not let ud go to the American medical clinic in Moscow--not as of today anyway. It was horrible to come down from the high of the trip to come back to this nonsense!! Its just nonsense!! Ugh. Thanks so much, Kati

I emailed you...hope it helps! You know where to reach me if you have any other questions about it. This seems to be becoming standard in the regions our agency works in...I wonder if the same is true elsewhere! Beth

What is the 8 doctor medical form? I do not know about this yet....

Congratulations,
We just adopted our third from Kirov in May - we just got in under the wire for the 8 doctor medicals so I can't help you with that but if you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. Pam

Congratulations on the referrals! Brace yourself, this form may not be all you need. We leave next Sat. for our trip 2 and it has been a strain this past week.

Congrats, Kati...Adriane and I are sooo happy for you and your Hubby... We are having a big Hawaiian Luau today for Kate's 2nd birthday party..Age 2..today...They have been home for 4 months now..Seems like they have been ours forever..Such smart, beautiful children..as I am sure your's will also be...Bonnie

I was just thinking about you and hoping everything worked out for you. . . and it did! I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to hear more about your soon to be children. See, the long wait is soooo worth it!  Good luck with the medicals. Liz
