FINALLY...its my turn!!!!!!!

We got referrals!!! (It hardly seems real that I am writing that. Its been almost a year weve been waiting!)

One baby girl who will be one year old in August and a boy turned 2 years old in June--the perfect ages we were hoping for! (well, since babies are now older because of the database anyway.) We are going to Kirov. We are so thrilled and excited but.........

it is a blind trip (not what we really wanted, but its OK) We have a good feeling about it and something about it feels "right". Whatever happens, it will all work out one way or another.

We leave on July 16th. It hardly seems real!!

Congratulations - I am so happy for you! Be sure and take your journal and write down EVERYTHING about your trip, the kids, and the culture. You'd be surprised at how many precious little details you will forget and be so thankful that you recorded.

Yipee!

Congrats, Kati!!!! So excited for you! So it's not really a truly blind trip -- they have kids IDed for you.. you just don't know anything about them yet!

How exciting!!! As I said in another post, Kirov really is a wonderful region.. the coordinator and translator are top-notch, and the trip is actually kind of fun.. the train will take you thru the countryside, which was all white with snow while we were there. It is a great place, and I'm sure you'll agree that the process is down to a bona fide science out there...

Once again, CONGRATS, and welcome to the Kirov family!

I'm so happy for you

I know that you and my daughter have been e-mail friends for a year. Same Agency... Both of you wanted a boy and a girl...God just found hers a liitle bit earlier..and now that they have been home..3 months....We are so blessed. Both healthy and beautiful...and I just know..Your little girl and boy will be too... Best of luck on your first trip...and hope you can bring them home soon... Bonnie
