To those of you who adopted through EAC and are going to the picnic, I am organizing a Tver Region reunion. We would meet at the EAC office after the picnic. I thought that we could get together, bring pics of the kids to send back to the orphanages, have a group picture and just sit and chat. I will have things for the kids to do, also. And any other suggestions for the gathering would be great. Would you all be interested?

I am interested in meeting up with folks. Where is the EAC office in reference to the hotel and zoo? Is everyone from out of town? We will be at the Marriott Airport and have made some plans to hang out with some other families that evening - some folks are Tver and some are not. I don't know how much we can cram into one day. We will be arriving on Friday afternoon.

I will bring some pictures to send back and really hope to meet everyone. Animalcrackers - I really want to meet you guys and to see your little man in person. I really am excited.

From what I understand it's not too far from the hotel. We are coming from Texas and we will get there by Friday also, just not sure what time, since we are driving.

I need to call the EAC office to see about getting a room to meet in. I was thinking of having it on Sunday mid-afternoon if that was convienient for most people. We won't be leaving until Monday. I just started organizing it this afternoon, so nothing is set in stone. And if you'd like to help with the families that you are in contact with, I'd love the help!

I can't wait to meet you guys too, and I can't wait to see your little beauty in person. I have her picture in Jacob's photo album, so hopefully he will recognize her when we meet.

We are flying out Sunday morning - so Sunday is not going to work for us. Where are you staying? Can we do something at the Marriott? Schroeder is hanging out with me - they are a Tver family. I can get the word to her. I am meeting the family I traveled with at the zoo. I can get her to bring pictures, but they are local and are coming for the Saturday day events.

Meeting at the Marriot may work better for everyone. I have no clue exactly how to plan this thing and don't really know how much interest there is. I don't even know how many Tver families there are or how many are going. I feel like I have been given a task with out direction. I have posted on several forums to see if there is interest. If not, we can get together at the Marriott. To me that is sounding pretty good. I am really going to try not to stress about this because I really want to enjoy the whole trip. We are also staying at the Marriott and we are meeting up and with another family who also adopted from Tver on the same trip as us.

Hello yes it is I Schroeder

We fly in from Cali on Friday and fly out Sunday morning. Nothing like flying for 6 hours for a 1 day event. Some might think I am a little crazy LOL

The night at the hotel would work. I will be seeing the family I went to Tver with (a month after Waiting) and she is local so I do not know her time frame yet.

Let me know what I can do to help. I like the idea of getting a group photo of the kids to send back (and keep for ourself)
