Does anyone watch House on Tuesday night? I just love that show.
What do you think of him?

I love this show, he has no bedside manner, but he is hysterical.
It just gets better every week.

I love it too~ My mom, husband and I watch it every week. It is a mix between funny and serious....I like the mystery of it all (although I have a hard time not saying "that wouldn't happen in real life!" I can't help it-I am a nurse-but I drive my husband crazy with it!!)

Amy--I am so with you, last night I was having a fit over the nurse who could have cared less if the girl died, then her havig a ** bx in the morgue?!?! not to mention the other tests in the hallway of teh ER with other patient's watching, just a little far fetched to me.
He is a trip though, he reminds of this hematologist I used to work with!

House is great. He says everything you wish you could say, and he gets away with it! We were at dinner with two other couples and both couples started talking about House. I'm glad I was a viewer so I could join in. My DH is hooked now too. I agree - it gets better every week.

My wife and I love the show. He is a riot. I like the mix of humor, sarcasm and mystery. I do, however, think that the premise of unknown disease always being solved by House by end of show will eventually grow a bit old.

Hey Kasey! I am glad you see what I mean!!! How about the premie baby (like a 25 weeker or something) that was like 7 lbs???!! Last night, my husband kept saying, Amy it is a COMEDY...COOOO MEEEE DDDDYYY...it is not REALLLLLLLLLL! He was teasing me of course. I kept saying, like the DOCTORS do every prcedure, do all the labs, and WORK in the lab, and READ BOOKS TO THEIR PTS!!! HA! Definitely not realistic like ER...(which I only watched a few years..made me feel like I was at work!). So I guess the hospital/mystery illness thing mixed with House's attitude and comedy is a good mix. It could get old....but who knows??? WHAT ABOUT WHEN HE EXPOSED THAT MAN'S *** to see if he was going drugs??? talk about thumbing your nose at political correctness!!!!!!!! Maybe that is why we love it so much! (for those medical people out there....I am sure JCAHO would love that!! hahaha).

I love that show!!! I think he's a great character - love when he rips into the interviewee about tryiing so hard to be non-conformist...(the kid with the tatoo and band)

House has become one our favorites! I can't quite figure him out, but love him anyway. I think he needs a good women to soften some of his rough edges-but if the edges are gone will he still be House???

Any--DH says the same thing to me, it is just a comical show, let it go, I was yelling at the TV the other night, why haven't they run a pg test, it is standard in the ER, if you are old enough to have AF, then a beta gets run--I actually was thinking it was something gyn related, more like some weird PID, I was going further too, thinking the coach was involved.

I can say working in oncology, we totally made our fellows do all the grunt work, especially in the beginning when the nurse know more about hem/onc then them!!

Definitely some of things he has said I have thought about myself!

I started watching House primarily because of Hugh Lawrie. I absolutely LOVE him!!!!! I have been a fan of his for years. He's been in some great TV shows in England. He used to be partnered with Stephen Fry (who has been in several movies realeased over here). He was also in a series adapted from the Jeeves and Wooster books by PG Wodehouse (also with S Fry) and he was in the Black Adder series with Rowan Atknison. In both of these, he played a character that was completely clueless and he was hilarious. He makes me just want to hug him every time I see him. I think he was probably better in some past series that were more comical than House is, but the one-liners he comes out with in the ER make it worth watching the whole one hour show.

Sadly I haven't seen it for a while and don't stand a chance now baseball is upon us again!!!! The medical premises are stretching the truth somewhat, but it's still a good show. it's got my vote

No , I don't think it's too late, plus there are only 3 more episodes in the season so there will be reruns.

Did you forget it's nearly Summer? There are bound to be reruns then!!!!! You won't have missed a thing!!!!!
