Hi All. We returned home on March 15 with Drew (3.5 years old) and Kate (1.5 years old) and since then, life has been wonderful but a little crazy. Today is the first chance that I've had to look at the forum and catch up.

Our trip to Voronezh was wonderful. We left on March 7 and our court date was March 9. Our court hearing was very quick and very friendly. We were only in the courtroom for about 1 hour. We spent the rest of the day completing papework.

On Thursday, March 10 we went to the orphange to pick up the kids. We had left photo albums for them to look at in-between trips (9 weeks). I am happy to say that the caregivers had been showing them the photo albums because Drew knew exactly who we were when he entered the room. He also slept with his photo album the first few nights and could go through it and point out mama and papa in every picture.

It was very cold in Moscow the four days that we were there and unfortunatly didn't get outside much to see anything.

Since returning home, the kids have adjusted great! They are eating and sleeping very well. They love their bathtimes and enjoy getting outside to play.

I am going to try and attach photos of them. I've never done this so lets hope it works. I just want to thank everyone again for all of the support and suggestions over the past several months.

For those of you waiting for referrals and court dates, I wish you the best and hope you hear good news soon. When you hear your child (or children) say mama for the first time, it makes your heart sing and you forget all of the long, frustrating months of papework and waiting.

But, I am their Grandmother... They are sooo sweet. they are full of life..They are so happy. It's like they have been with us forever. Drew adores me..(sorry, Adriane)and goes everywhere with me. I take him to the mall to ride the Merry-Go-Round...now, he is saying..I want to ride the horsey...Adores my age 12 year old Grandson (son's child)...( His picture was in photo albums Adriane left with him after first trip)His name is Kameron and Drew says Kameron all the time.... For those of you going on first trip, I highly recommend putting all the family in an album and leaving for the caretakers to show them while you await your courtdate. Tranlated into English..for their names. They know when they come home who we are....I can point to my picture and he will say, Granbonny Thank goodness, I only live 45 minutes away...and can go down and spoil them (sorry Adriane) Bonnie
